Seattle Faculty Give Conference Presentation

Seattle Community Colleges was represented in the Educause Western Regional Conference 2008 in San Francisco, March 31-April 2. Sara Newman, SSCC Distance Learning and TLC Coordinator, and Bill Newman, SCCC faculty presented “Google Power Tools: Free Online Tools for Your Classroom, Committees, and Departments”.  This presentation was partially funded by Faculty Development Grants.

This workshop, as well as other valuable training, is also presented right here in our campus TLC’s (Teaching and Learning Centers). Our TLC’s are an excellent way to get individual help and to further your training by attending workshops. Look at the District-wide TLC Workshops Calendar to see what’s being offered.
